Public Culture

I was a senior editor for visual culture at the journal Public Culture from 2011 to 2016. My colleagues and I worked to foreground visually arresting, sociologically informative photography, as well as writing that illuminated the links between media, technology, and public life. We were proud to have published an extraordinarily creative range of writers and artists, including Wayne Lawrence, Philipp Scholz Rittermann, Claire Beckett and Greg Stimac.
